About us

With more than 100 employees in Paris, Frankfurt and Milan, the Physitek Group has established itself as a key player in portable scientific instrumentation. True to its values of innovation, ethics and quality, it pursues a clear ambition: to make the most powerful analysis technologies available to everyone, wherever they are really needed.

Physitek Group: scientific innovation at the service of Europe

Scientific instrumentation is now at the heart of major technological and industrial advances. Whether it is a question of diagnosing the presence of lead in a building, checking the quality of raw materials or ensuring safety in industry and the environment, portable spectrometers are becoming indispensable tools. This is precisely the mission of the Physitek Group: to provide cutting-edge, accessible and high-performance measuring instruments.

Founded in 1982, Fondis Electronic is the cornerstone of the group. The company specialises in a niche market : lead analysers in paint. With the introduction of strict regulations in France in the 2000s, its expertise found a wider field of application, enabling rapid growth.
Beyond property diagnostics, Fondis Electronic has diversified its activities around four areas: elemental spectrometry, security, laboratory and property diagnostics, with the latter remaining predominant.
In 2016, the company reached a major milestone with the launch of its first in-house designed instrument, the FEnX, followed by the FEnX 2. These products marked a key step forward, placing Fondis Electronic in the category of innovative equipment designers, adapted to highly regulated niche markets.

Joining the group in 2019, Analyticon, based near Frankfurt, is a leading player in Germany and Europe. Since its creation in 2000, the company has built its reputation on a clear vision: to make scientific analysis accessible outside the traditional laboratory. The “Labor in der Hand” concept is based on a demanding selection of portable technologies that go far beyond X-ray fluorescence.
Today, its range includes solutions in XRF, LIBS, Raman spectroscopy, NIR, FTIR, as well as colorimetry and PCR. This portfolio, unique in Europe, makes Analyticon the undisputed leader in portable analysis.
The company also stands out for its services, notably its technical center near Frankfurt, which provides calibration, customization, software development, and customer support. In addition, its Analyticon Academy offers specialized training, ranging from instrument mastery to advanced knowledge rarely available on the market.

The latest addition to the group in March 2024, Sirio Analitix brings over 30 years of experience in elemental analysis. Based in Lodi, near Milan, the company has built a solid reputation in metal analysis through the distribution and maintenance of renowned instruments such as portable analyzers and optical emission spectrometers.
Its solutions cover a wide range of applications: metal recycling, quality control, PMI (Positive Material Identification) testing, precious metal analysis, coating verification, soil analysis, and plastics testing.
What sets Sirio Analitix apart is the high proportion of specialized technicians in its teams, who make up more than half of its workforce, ensuring a high level of service and proximity to customers. With its integration, the Physitek Group is strengthening its strategic presence in Southern Europe and consolidating its status as a leader in elemental spectrometry.

Despite its growth in Europe, the Physitek Group prides itself on its human scale and a corporate culture based on stable teams, skills development, and mutual respect. This approach ensures strong cohesion between subsidiaries and the harmonious integration of different national cultures.
The group’s future is based on innovation, with the development of FEnX-T, a collaborative project between France, Germany, and Italy, which perfectly symbolizes the strength of this European alliance.
